Stüssy

STÜSSY, founded by Shawn Stussy in California in the early 1980s, originally manufactured surfboards and skateboards. Its founder, associated with a friend (F. Sinatra Jr.), began selling clothing in 1984, benefiting from the Californian surfwear trend originating in Orange County. However, it was widely adopted by the streetwear and hip-hop scenes. It then expanded to the European market in 1988, later opening a store in SoHo (New York) and then worldwide.
